Bumps & Bruises - Pure Comfrey Salve
Comfrey has a long history of use for healing bruises & wounds, as well as pulled muscles & ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, & osteoarthritis. Known for its high content of allantoin, comfrey has been known to help soothe, hydrate, & repair the skin.
Starting off with an infusion of organic comfrey leaves in extra virgin olive oil blended with organic beeswax or choose the vegan option to substitute beeswax with candelilla wax, a plant based wax. Our Comfrey Salve also includes an organic essential oil blend of lavender & frankincense carterii in a 3% dilution ratio.
• Lavender essential oil can possibly help reduce bruising & discomfort. Aromatically, it is said to promote relaxation & ease stress.
• Frankincense carterii essential oil is used in traditional Chinese medicine to reduce bruising, swelling, sores, & pain from traumatic injury. Frankincense is known aromatically to lift spirits & encourage a sense of calm.
To use Comfrey Salve, apply a small amount of salve to painful/bruised areas & rub in thoroughly.
Comfrey Salve is available in either a 2 ounce reusable tin or a 1 ounce reusable tin. Vegan wax option also available. Please ensure to choose your options carefully!
