Joint & Muscle Rub - Kombo Butter w/ Arnica, Comfrey, & Willow Bark Infused Oil
Our Joint & Muscle Rub is an herbal-infused aromatherapeutic salve made with all natural ingredients known for their inflammation fighting properties. Our Joint & Muscle Rub starts out with a base of kombo butter blended with Arnica, Comfrey, & White Willow Bark infused organic extra virgin olive oil. We finish this power packed herbal blend off with a therapeutic blend of organic essential oils & organic menthol crystals.
We chose these ingredients for their known therapeutic properties:
• Kombo butter is high in Myristoleic acid & Vitamin A & has been traditionally used to alleviate arthritis & general body pains, such as joint & muscle aches.
• Arnica is known for reducing swelling & decreasing pain.
• Comfrey has been used to heal bruises as well as pulled muscles & ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, & osteoarthritis.
• Adding in White Willow Bark, known for its active constituent salicin which is similar to aspirin, was a no brainer!
Joint & Muscle Rub also includes all natural organic & fair trade certified menthol crystals derived from cornmint (Mentha arvensis) essential oil extraction as well as an essential oil blend known for muscle soothing, warming properties to give this salve an icy-hot feel. Our essential oil blend consists of peppermint, copaiba oleoresin, black pepper, ginger root, and cinnamon in a 3% therapeutic dilution ratio (where applicable - some essential oils are lower due to safety reasons). Organic beeswax is also added or chose our vegan option for candelilla wax, a plant based alternative to beeswax.
To use Joint & Muscle Rub, apply a small amount of salve to painful areas & rub in thoroughly.
**If you are allergic or experience sensitivities to aspirin do not use this product. White Willow bark contains salicin, the active ingredient in aspirin. Do not use on broken/irritated skin or near mucous membranes & sensitive areas. Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding without prior permission from your medical doctor. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Discontinue use immediately if irritation or adverse reactions occur. A patch test is always recommended to ensure you have no sensitivities. Keep away from pets & children. Store your Joint & Muscle Rub in a cool, dry location. Melting may occur if it gets too warm, just place in the refrigerator or in a cool spot & allow to solidify.
Joint & Muscle Rub is available in either a 2 ounce reusable tin or a 1 ounce reusable tin & can be made with a vegan alternative to beeswax, if chosen.
